Recycling Your Old Electronics

At Pejayz, operated by HamzaPvt LTD, we take our environmental responsibilities seriously. Unwanted electrical equipment is the UK's fastest-growing type of waste, and much of it can be recycled to save natural resources and protect the environment.

1. Our Take-Back Scheme

We offer a "like-for-like" take-back scheme. This means that when you buy a new piece of electronic equipment from us (such as a charger, a powered tech accessory, or an electronic watch component), you can return your old, equivalent item to us for free disposal.

  • Eligibility: The item you are returning must be of an equivalent type and perform the same function as the new item you are purchasing.
  • Timeline: You have 28 days from the date of your new purchase to return your old electronic item to us.

2. How to Return Your Old Electronics

If you wish to utilise our take-back scheme, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Email info@pejayz.com within 28 days of your purchase with your order number and details of the item you wish to recycle.
  2. Ship the Item: You are responsible for the postage costs to send the old item to our London facility: 556, 184 High Street North, London, E6 2JA, UK.
  3. Labelling: Please mark the package clearly as "WEEE RECYCLING".

Once received, we will ensure the item is processed and recycled in an environmentally sound manner through an authorised treatment facility.

3. Why Recycle?

Many electrical items can be repaired or recycled, saving natural resources and the environment. If you do not recycle, electrical equipment will end up in landfill, where hazardous substances (like lithium or lead) can leak out and cause soil and water contamination—harming wildlife and human health.

4. The Crossed-Out Wheeled Bin Symbol

To remind you that old electrical equipment can be recycled, all electronic products are now marked with a crossed-out wheeled bin symbol.

Note: Please do not throw any electrical equipment (including those marked with this symbol) in your general household waste bin.

5. Data Security

If the electronic device you are returning contains any personal data (e.g., a device with internal storage), it is your sole responsibility to ensure all personal data is deleted before sending the item to us. Pejayz is not responsible for the loss or misuse of any data left on returned equipment.
